Tuesday 23rd March 2010- Third day of my awsome work experience :)

This morning, the students and the interns ( and myself) went walking to the achedemy. this gave them a chance to wake up and have a morning stroll. They said that they enjoyed the walk altough some preffered to take the bus. When we arrived we sat watching an amazing documentary on a trutle's journey and how difficult it is to make it. The students were really into it and were really interested in how turtles manage to navigate which was good to see. After this, we had a member of the Turtke Rehabilitation centre in Madinat come and chat to us about the types of turtles and what they do. We then had a little break and by bus, visited the centre which all the of the students enjoyed feeding the turtke ssquid and vegetables. It was a shame that we couldnt get close enough but they seemed very interested in the turtle called 106 who was 106killos. Afterwards the students enjoyed a day at the beach playing volleyball or swimming.
