TEDxDubai 2010| Tawasul

The Tawasul Steering Committee were asked to give a talk at TEDxDubai 2010 REBOOT conference. Presenting our on going research to an audience of a 1000 people being live streamed to 80 countries was a challenge but also a remarkable opportunity to make ourselves heard as passionate individuals who are challenging themselves for such an important cause and working together with such passionate young people.
After being able to successfully carry out this talk we know that from now on we will be more confident in delivering our personal ambitions. Not only did I enjoy getting on the stage and increasing awareness amongst the greater community but I also found it very interesting to listen to all the other speakers. I admire those people who have a passion to make a change and I see myself as one of them.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.

At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.

These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x=independently organized TED event.

The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
